Ep#66: My Sleeping Baby: Expert Sleep Training Techniques for Your Little One with Eva Klein
Are you a new-mom who can’t take the sleepless nights anymore and feel delirious from lack of sleep where you could cry? Are you starting to wonder if it’s time to start to sleep train your baby?
This week’s Empower Your Pelvis Podcast, our host, Dr. Amanda Fisher interviews Eva Klein. Eva is a Certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant and is the founder of My Sleeping Baby and the Sleep Bible program. Eva’s main goal is to help her clients establish healthy sleep habits for their children. After experiencing the debilitating effects of chronic sleep deprivation from her middle child, Eva was inspired to help families overcome their sleep challenges. Eva truly empathizes with her clients’ sleep troubles and personally invests herself in their sleep journey.
In addition to completing her sleep consulting certification, she is a member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants and she completed the 2016 Infant Mental Health Community Training through the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Eva also has her Bachelor of Arts from York University and her law degree from the University of Western Ontario.
In this episode, Amanda and Eva will talk about how sleep training will help your little one(s) sleep restfully at night so that you can feel rested and refreshed and enjoy parenthood to its fullest without having the guilt. They will also discuss how this method helps your baby to be comfortable and independent sleeping on their own, even if they wake up - they can calm themselves.
They will touch on such topics as:
- Maximizing your child’s sleep regardless of their age and stage in order to enjoy the stage of motherhood.
- How a child can learn to independently sleep, and the appropriate training to implement in the beginning.
- How to introduce new sleep habits to your little one, so you can give attention, time, and love to your toddler or preschooler child.
- You don’t need to choose between getting sleep for yourself and honoring your child's emotional needs because you can have both at the same time.
- There is more than one right way to approach your little one's sleep and bring them into your bed.
- Sleep training should be looked-at as an equally legitimate choice from being a well-rested family and an emotional happy and stable child.
If you’re convinced that NOTHING will ever get your baby sleeping through the night, I sympathize with you. I get it, and I know exactly how it feels to be so hopeless, feeling like you’ve tried EVERYTHING. You feel like nothing will ever work.
I’m here to give you hope and reassurance, as does my friend Eva of My Sleeping Baby. If you’d love to get your baby consistently sleeping 11-12 hours at night so you can be a functioning human, grab a spot for her FREE training coming up on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 8:30 PM EST.
